Our Story

Alexis and Mario’s story began in a place neither of them expected would change their lives forever: Sunday school at their Catholic church. Despite growing up with the same group of friends—Chancho Jesus, Victor, and Reyna—their paths somehow never crossed until that one Sunday. When Alexis first met Mario, she thought he was charming, sweet, and effortlessly funny. She wasn’t shy about it either, and Mario quickly realized there was something special there. From the very beginning, the chemistry was undeniable.

They spent the next four months talking, laughing, and getting to know each other, and on February 17, 2015, Mario gathered the courage to ask Alexis after school if she would be his girlfriend. From that moment on, their relationship blossomed into something truly beautiful. Together, they grew from young teens into young adults—sharing memories under Friday night lights, staying up far too late wandering Walmart back when it was open 24 hours, and saying “yes” to every new adventure. Mario even taught Alexis how to dance, which led to countless dances, concerts, and nights filled with music and laughter.

Ten years later, on January 22, 2025, Mario asked Alexis the easiest question he’s ever asked—if she would be his wife. As they look ahead to the future, Alexis and Mario are beyond excited to continue growing, dancing, laughing, and growing old together, hand in hand, with full hearts and endless love.
